The bee colonies stood in a field of mixed flowers from mid-June until this honey was harvested.
Buckwheat was always present in this field. It has a creamy, spreadable consistency and a strong, malty taste. Most of the honeys we can buy here in Germany do not come from Germany at all. Mostly not even from Europe. This Eifel honey comes from our own apiary in the Eifel. Enjoy healthy honey from the Eifel – your health will thank you!
